Two Castro Valley High Track Athletes Capture Two State Titles

Castro Valley High's Sasha Wallace and Nate Moore each won two events at the state track championship meet on Saturday.

Wallace was victorious in the girls' triple jump and 100-meter hurdles.

Moore won the boys' long jump and triple jump.

Wallace, a senior, won the same events last year. She became the first East Bay girl to defend two titles at the state track championships.

Moore, a junior, won the triple jump with a leap of 50 feet, 11 3/4 inches, the best mark in the nation this year.
