Community Corner

Community Meeting with Alameda County Supervisors Nate Miley and Wilma Chan

The Eden Area Livability Initiative (EALI) is a strategic effort to involve the community in helping to identify projects that make the Eden Area more livable.

The EALI process will culminate in a community meeting, or “charette”, on Saturday, November 16 at the Eden Church in Hayward.

The charette is an opportunity for Eden Area residents to help shape the Eden Area’s priorities for the next five years. Those attending will have the opportunity to vote on important issues in the areas of Public Safety & Realignment, Education, Agriculture and the Environment, Governance, and Economic Development.
