Blessing of the Animals

Castro Valley United Methodist Church invites all animal lovers to participate in our annual "Blessing of the Animals" in front of the Church. This event is open to the public and is free to everyone and their pets. Pastor Paul Harkness will bless all animals, not just dogs and cats! Well behaved animals including lizards, fish, birds, rabbits and horses! Clean-up aids and water will be available. All animals need to be on a leash or in a carrier. Children may also bring their favorite stuffed animal. Pastor Paul will bless each animal. Don't forget to bring your camera.
