Bird Hike: Give the Gift that Keeps on Giving

What gift is that? The gift of becoming a birder! As fall turns into winter at the shoreline, thousands of birds arrive to spend the next four months resting and feeding.  We rarely leave this area without seeing fun and cool birds like Great Blue Herons, Northern Pintails, and Black-bellied Plovers.  Meet at the Grant Ave. trailhead in San Lorenzo. Ages 12 and up. Fee: $5.

Class #24066. Visit www.haywardrec.org/registration.html to sign up.
