Jim Negri, Neighbor

Jim Negri is the Superintendent of the Castro Valley Unified School District. He joined the district in July 2009. As an occasional guest columnist, he writes about what's happening throughout the district, with a special focus on how budget cuts are affecting teachers, school support staffers and the district's roughly 9,000 students.
