Twenty-four-hour try-out bikes are available for certain models, so you can see what the ride will really feel like before you buy. There's a well-equipped and competent repair shop, and two different levels of professional bike fittings are available in a special area at the back of the store. Aside from the expected assortment of tubes, tires, lights and pumps, the shop carries six-six-one mountain biking armour, Camelbaks, Giro helmets, Fox gear, Timbuk2 messenger bags, Quick Track trunks and apparel from Lance Armstrong's Live Strong line. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, there's plenty of room to hang out on the nice chairs at the rear, and the shop sponsors local youth sports and has its own Eden Bicycles Racing Club as well as free casual group rides for all levels.

With an interior that feels a lot like someone's living room (owing in part to the fireplace and bead-board walls) and an outdoor smoking patio towered over by two giant redwoods, this bar always providies a mellow and comfortable spot to hang out.

Some of the center's events include giant flea markets, senior health and wellness fairs and senior spring art galas. The community center can be reserved for private parties.
