Tamie's Studio II Dance

Since 1987, Tamie Slader's family-run dance studio has been offering fun, flashy, energetic dance lessons to students of all ages. Tamie first began teaching dance out of the garage of her Castro Valley home. She moved into the current Somerset studio location once her classes proved too popular to hold in her garage, and the Federation of Dance Competitions now ranks Tamie's as one of the best dance schools in the nation. Tamie's Studio II Dance strives to nurture both passion and proper technique in students, and as a result, the studio has many lasting relationships with Bay Area families who take dance classes with Tamie for years. Students can sign up for weekly group classes, duet/trio classes or private one-on-one lessons in a variety of dance styles, including ballet, jazz, tap and hip-hop.
