<p>San Lorenzo Library is part of the Alameda County Public Library system. It serves San Lorenzo as well as the unincorporated towns of Ashland and Cherryland. It offers a range of services, from homework help (Monday - Thursday, 3:30 p.m. - 5 p.m.) to citizenship classes and job training. It also circulates more than 250,000 books, CDs and DVDs each year.</p> <p>San Lorenzo Library is the county's oldest, founded on October 2, 1910. In the summer of 2010, the building, which was built in the '60s, underwent a first phase of renovations. </p>
