Edendale Middle School

<p>Edendale Middle School is one of three middle schools in the <a href="http://sanlorenzo.patch.com/admin/listings/san-lorenzo-unified-school-district">San Lorenzo Unified School District</a>. It serves more than 700 students in grades 6 - 8. The school received an Academic Performance Index ranking of 656 for the 2009-10 school year. Beginning in the 2010-11 school year, all students will be required to wear a school uniform.</p> <p>Edendale has a diverse student body: About 56 percent are Latino, 23 percent African American, 6 percent Filipino, 6 percent white and 3 percent Asian. About 25 percent are considered English-language learners and 71 percent recieve free or reduced meals.</p> <p> </p>
