<p>This spacious, high-ceilinged Mexican bar and eatery has been a Castro Village gathering spot since 1974, and draws a multi-generational cross-section of Castro Valley life. You can eat a full meal in the bar or enjoy your drinks in the atmospheric main restaurant or on the long covered front patio, perfect for people-watching.</p> <p>Lighter entrees, such as fish tacos, have been added in recent years, but this is still an old-school menu. Tuesday is Margarita Day; Wednesday is Mojito Day; those drinks are $3.50 all day. Happy hour snack specials are $3.25 from 3pm to 6pm. </p>
