"I am excited to be serving the community in which I have lived most of my life, and want to make a difference in making San Lorenzo a beautiful place to live," Aaron said of his Eagle Project.

"I feel this cemetery, being on a main road, reflects to the people who drive by just how we feel about those who settled this area and have passed on. I would like people to feel we have respect for those who have done so, but it is hard when vandalism hits the cemetery in a way that disrespects the people buried in it."

He is currently looking for donations and volunteers to help with the clean-up effort, to be completed in May. Volunteers will be at the cemetery April 16, 23and 30th, and Sunday, May 1, if needed.

Key to Whiz Kid's Awesomeness: A Scout since first grade, Aaron says he's harbored a deep passion for history since childhood. Using your passion to help others—that's awesome.
