From Lewelling Dental Care

Here's something to smile about — will host a free dental care event through Dentistry From The Heart (DFTH) supporting about 100 Alameda county residents by providing them with free dental services.

The team of dental professionals at Lewelling Dental Care will provide the first 100 patients with a free extraction, filling or cleaning. There will also be several hygienists, dental assistants and other dental professionals donating their time and resources, in order to provide free dental care to as many residents in need as possible.

This DFTH event will donate thousands of dollars in free dental care and provide much-needed relief to people in need in the community.

Teams of volunteers, patients, and of course Dr. Shital Kazi will spread free smiles across Alameda County through Dentistry From The Heart located at 10 Lewelling Blvd. in San Lorenzo this Friday, Aug. 31.

Patients are asked to arrive early as the event is a first come, first serve basis.

Event registration will begin at 7 a.m. and patients will be seen through 5 p.m. that day. Patients are also encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather, to bring chairs, blankets, water, snacks, etc. as they may be outside waiting to be seen.

This is the first annual event for Lewelling Dental Care and like hundreds of other Dentistry From The Heart members, this will not be their last. This sort of outreach comes complete with improved smiles, relief from suffering and a warm sense of gratitude.

The services provided by Dentistry From The Heart not only help a patients teeth and overall health, it gives them a renewed reason to smile.

Another problem: When notified of a reply to a comment I could click the link in the email to go toRead More the article. That was not possible this time. So because a small minority zooms there computer the layout should be as it is? I don't think so. All that white space means that an article that could be read with just one or two clicks to scroll through is now going to take more scrolling to view. One thing that seems to be missing in today's world are web designers who (1) change the layout just because and (2) web designers who have neglected to consider the audience. The more I look at this layout the less I like it. The font needs to be darker than it is. the blue (like in "announcements") needs to be bolder. Overall, on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 best), I rank the new "improved" design a 3.
