Day Of Service To Honor Dr. King

Register in advance to help the East Bay Regional Parks cleanup the shoreline.

The East Bay Regional Park District is inviting the public to participate in an annual day of service at Martin Luther King Jr. Regional Shoreline in Oakland from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on January 16.

Volunteers will help staff remove invasive plants and restore the shoreline's habitat.

Wear closed-toe shoes and bring your own refillable water bottle.

The event will only be cancelled in the event of heavy rain.

Parking is available at the Peppermint Gate staging area of the park which is accessible at Oakport Street between East Creek Slough and Damon Slough.You can download a map here.
