Alameda County Seeks Volunteers to Work with Foster Children

Make a life-long difference in a child's life by working with those who have been abused, abandoned, or neglected and is currently in the Foster Care System.

CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Alameda County is currently seeking volunteers from the community who are at least 21 years of age and can commit to working with a youth who has been abused, abandoned, or neglected and is currently in the Foster Care System.

CASA of Alameda County recruits and trains and provides you on-going support so you can make an impact in the life of youth in transition.

Advocates attend one to two court hearings a year and are usually the main and/or only consistent figure in the youth's life.
