Alameda County Deputy Sheriff, Sergeant Bret Scheuller is known by a lot of the San Lorenzo residents as "Top Cop."  He heads up the local Cop Shop, (Community Policing Unit). And, today, April 21, 2014, Top Cop was honored by the San Lorenzo Village Volunteers at the Sheriff's Advisory Meeting held in San Lorenzo.

The Village Volunteers help out around San Lorenzo, but Sgt. Scheuller helps out at even more community events than the Village Volunteers attend, by far.  If you see a San Lorenzo event, you will likely see Top Cop there helping out from putting up the very first tent, to helping haul out the very last garbage bin.  In the middle, you might even see him let kids sit on his cool blue motorcycle.  He spends a lot of his time helping to make San Lorenzo a great place to live.

For his selfless dedication to San Lorenzo, Top Cop, very much a San Lorenzo Community member, was presented with a mug captioned "San Lorenzo's Top Cop."  It's a very small token of our appreciation, but it's from us.... ;)

Top Cop, your efforts are noticed, and appreciated by a grateful community.
