It was a normal Easter Sunday on 4/20/14, when a San Lorenzo resident found a little lost dog, something that regularly occurs in many places, including San Lorenzo.

What makes this story a little different is the FINDER of the dog is a member of the San Lorenzo Community Facebook page, and knew to post a photo of the dog on the page.

What was also different is that another neighbor heard the dog barking in the neighborhood and looked to the Community FB page to look for the photo, and showed it to one of his own neighbors to see if it was his dog..... guess what?  IT WAS!!!!

The San Lorenzo Community Facebook Page strikes again!

It is not only for lost owners and found pets (or vice versa)...., but it is also for community events, goings on in and around San Lorenzo, and includes information about the County, the HOA, the Alameda County Sheriffs and the Alameda County Fire Dept, and is a GREAT community resource for questions on how things are done, and how to get stuff fixed....

It is open to everyone, and I know that it is one of the TOOLS that will continue to make San Lorenzo a connected and informed community.

It takes the Community Members to make a Community Great!  Come join us.

It takes a village to make sure our pets are safe. Its helps if your pets are chipped and have proper tags attached to their collar. A contact number is also helpful.
