The CV Veterans Memorial Committee needs help from the Community to identify & Honor Castro Valley natives that were Killed in Action (KIA) during any war.

Unfortunately identifying residents of Castro Valley that were KIA has been difficult as public records are limited.

The Memorials center Stone (Flag pole base) is intended to Honor service members that were KIA from Castro Valley. This Stone has space for 54 additional names. There is no cost to engrave KIA names, we only wish to Honor their sacrifice.

If you know someone from our community that lost a friend or family member during any war period; please contact us with their information.  To contact the Memorial Committee go to www.CVVM.info Click the [Contact Us] tab & E-mail the information to Tony Lindsey or call 510 468-9942.

To qualify for placement on the KIA Stone the individual needs to have lived in Castro Valley at birth or moved to Castro Valley prior to entering the Armed Forces.
