PHOTOS: Jerry Rice, PGA TOUR Stars Visit Patients and Staff at Eden Hospital

Former NFL star Jerry Rice and his fellow PGA TOUR companions Steve Elkington, James Hahn and Zachary Miller paid a visit to Eden Medical Center's patients and staff on Monday to promote their upcoming charity golf tournament.

What do you get when you mix Pro Football Hall of Fame member Jerry Rice with a few PGA TOUR stars at ?

A sure-way to bring a smile to any patient's face no matter what they're in for.

Rice, along with PGA TOUR stars James Hahn, Zachary Miller, and 10-time winner winner Steve Elkington, visited patients and staff at Eden Hospital on Monday afternoon. They also promoted the TPC Stonebrae Championship, an upcoming charity golf tournament Rice is hosting and they're all playing in.

The hospital is sponsoring this year's tournament, which will be its forth to date. Held at Hayward's Stonebrae County Club, 100 percent of the tournament's proceeds go towards benefiting Bay Area charities like The First Tee and Autism Speaks along with the Hayward Unified School District.

The tournament tees off tomorrow, April 11 at 9 a.m. and continues until April 15. According to past tournament rules, each birdie or eagle netted by tournament players results in $2 to $3 beers for everyone in attendance for five minutes.
