We will work with key elements of balance through a variety of different postures, from standing poses to inversions or inversion preparation, to basic arm balances. This practice will assist with physical balance in daily activities, balancing the body’s strengths and weaknesses and increased emotional equilibrium.
Instructor Sandy Blaine is the owner of Alameda Yoga Station, the in-house yoga and wellness instructor for Pixar Studios, and author of "Yoga for Healthy Knees" and "Yoga for Computer Users" published by Rodmell Press. Sandy is on the esteemed faculty of the Advanced Studies/Teacher Training Program at The Yoga Room, Berkeley, and is working on a new book about yoga and happiness.
