 ,   Add to calendar
 Castro Valley  See map

Sink into a cooling practice of restorative poses, breathing awareness and meditation. Restorative poses are passive, with bolsters and blankets for support. They allow gentle opening of the body and deep rest, and can be more restful than sleep. Space limited, pre-registration recommended. Bring an eye pillow or a cloth for covering your eyes.

Instructor Nancy Leigh-Smith took the first Relax and Renew Teacher Training in 2001 and the Advanced Training in 2006, both with Judith Lasater, P.T., PhD, author of Relax and Renew: Restful Yoga for Stressful Times. Nancy is certified as an Advanced Relax and Renew Trainer, and has been teaching restorative yoga for over 10 years.
