The Trojans will host the winner of Serra-Franklin on Thursday at Washington High in Fremont.

As expected, the Castro Valley High boys basketball was officially named the favorite to represent Northern California in the Division I state title game. The Trojans were named the North's No. 1 seed in the CIF state playoffs on Sunday.

Castro Valley will host the winner of Tuesday's game between Serra-San Mateo and Franklin-Elk Grove on Thursday at Washington High in Fremont at 7 p.m.

If the Trojans win, they'll play in the NorCal semifinals on Saturday against the winner of Jesuit-Carmichael and Oakland. Castro Valley beat both and during the regular season.
