An informational meeting about Castro Valley Unified School District's Transitional Kindergarten program will be held next week
According to the district's website, transitional kindergarten is a part of a two-year kindergarten program that includes modified kindergarten curriculum that is "age and developmentally appropriate.

In addition, this unique program prepares students for the rigor of the Kindergarten Common Core curriculum. Teachers and administrators will discuss the transitional kindergarten curriculum and the benefits of this program. All are welcome to attend.
The meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 26 inside of the board room at the district office, 4430 Alma Ave.
