Teach Your Child to be Drug and Alcohol Free

Edendale Middle School in San Lorenzo tackles topic of child substance abuse at its Parent Coffee Club March 23

Parents and Guardians are invited to a special Parent Coffee Club event at in San Lorenzo March 23 from 8:30 to 10 a.m. in the school's conference room.  The school is located at 16160 Ashland Ave., San Lorenzo.

During this workshop there will be a discussion of the reasons why youth are influenced to use drugs and alcohol and the warning signs that indicate your child could be engaging in such activity.

Families will get tips on how to effectively talk with their child about preventing drug and alcohol use.

This workshop will be presented by a counselor experienced in working with youth and parents regarding drugs and alcohol.

The school's Parent Coffee Club gives parents a chance to meet other parents, enjoy a program and enjoy a light breakfast.
