School Board Holds Extra Meetings Thursday

The regular public meeting will be 7 p.m. and will include a report on registration and enrollment, and continuation of the community conversation about equity in school resources.

Castro Valley Unified School District Office —

On Thursday, Sept. 8, the school board will hold three meetings instead of the usual one meeting. 

The two special meetings are:

  • Governance Team Workshop at 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Expulsion Workshop at 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

These meetings will be followed by the regular public meeting of the Castro Valley Unified School District Board of Education at 7 p.m. at the district office on 4400 Alma Avenue.

  • A presentation of block grants by the Castro Valley Educational Foundation
  • A report on the registration process and enrollment numbers
  • A continuation of the discussion on ensuring equal access to high quality educational programs for all students
