Registration Underway for "Run-to-Play" Race Benefiting CVHS
Athletic Boosters sponsor third annual 5k/10k run and walk for all ages June 9
The third annual "Run-to-Play 5k/10k" sponsored by the Athletic Booster's Club will be held June 9. Participants can register for the event now.
On-line registration will be available here and must be completed by June 6 to receive the advance registration discount, saving $5. You can also complete and mail (or hand deliver) the registration form you can access and download via here and receive the $5 discount. The form must be received by June 1.

Registration on-site at the race is at 7:30 a.m. The actual event commences at 9 a.m. Entry fees are $30 in advance or $35 on June 9. All proceeds from this race help to fund the high school's athletic programs. For the first time this year, participants can earmark 100 percent of their registration fee to a Castro Valley High School sports team of their choice.
This running and walking fundraiser for all ages begins at the school's Trojan Stadium at Redwood Road and Mabel Avenue in Castro Valley and winds through the community.

Awards will be distributed after the event by age group with special prizes presented to the top three male and female winners in the 5k and 10k events.
The logo for this year's event was designed by Mike Lee, a Castro Valley High School Advanced Graphics Arts student.
