Funeral Services for Patricia Martin Set for Saturday

A celebration of her life will be held at the Graham-Hitch Funeral Home.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of 17-year-old Patricia Martin will be held this Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Graham-Hitch Funeral home in Pleasanton, according to the Pleasanton Weekly.

This is so tragic, I am very sorry for both families. But this should not receive so much coverage because it becomes romanticized among the teens which leads to epidemic behavior.

This is the 3rd year in a row I think that we've lost one of our teens in this type of trajedy. It's really difficult for the kids who were their friends too; even though they don't always articulate their feelings. Sometimes it helps to open up dialogue and just let them talk. I found out a lot was going on inside my own son's mind about these lost souls. Very sad. I wish her rest, peace and strength for her family and friends.
