New Pharmacology Series: What Happens After the Medicine Goes Down?

Starts Jan. 19 -- Register by Jan. 17

In this class, you'll learn how drugs work, methods of drug administration, controlled substances, drug and food interaction, herbal and natural remedies, psychiatric conditions, and current therapies. An emphasis on patient safety is an integral part of this section.

This is essential information for health care professionals, skilled nursing faculty staff members, medical or nursing assistants, caregivers, or people taking medicines themselves.

If you're a CNA working in acute care or a hospital setting and you've been employed in that capacity for 4.25 years, you can also challenge the LVN test if you take the entire series and qualify. A Certificate of Competency is provided upon completion of the series.
