Parent Project: Help for Parents of Out-of-Control 11-19 Year Olds Starts Wed., Sept. 26

If you have a strong-willed or out-of-control 11-19 year old, help is here!  Come to Parent Project this Wednesday, Sept. 26 and get support with this challenging job.

Led by Castro Valley High School counselor Lisa Wasserman, this class will give parents specific strategies, support, and resources. The class will focus on teaching parents how to reduce family conflict while addressing problems related to poor school performance or attendance, aggressive/sexual acting out, or other self-destructive behaviors.

Parent Project runs Wednesday evenings from Sept. 26 through December 19 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. in Room 3 at Castro Valley Adult and Career Education, 4430 Alma Avenue in Castro Valley. The cost is just $40, which includes a book.
