Marketing Using Social Media -- June 9

If you've ever looked up a restaurant on Yelp, read a blog about an issue you care about, or "liked" an organization on Facebook or CV Patch (you must have because you're reading this), then you already participate in the use of social media. So how can it help your business or cause? Register by June 7 for our Sat. June 9 "Marketing Using Social Media" class and find out!

Social media -- Facebook, Twitter, blogging, and Yelp! -- is a key part of business today. They're used extensively by businesses, nonprofits, or other organizations to promote products and market events.

This class includes an overview of different platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, blogging, and Yelp! as well as tips on selecting a media platform appropriate for your organization. This is a hands on class taught in our computer labs, so, after learning about the platforms, you will have an opportunity to explore in more depth one or more platforms of your choosing and receive usage tips from the instructor. (Please preregister by June 7!)
