Learn About Earth Day And Bay Friendly Gardening

The will present a free workshop April 5 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at its offices at 21040 Marshall Street on Bay Friendly Gardening and Earth Day.

According to the district's website, this workshop will feature a demonstration and discussion from StopWaste.Org and their Bay-Friendly Gardening staff. 

There will also be a discussion of the history of Earth Day, the district's annual Earth Day Go Green CV Clean and other ways to get involved in the community.

Light refreshments will be served and CVSan grease cans will be distributed free to the first 10 attendees.

This workshop is open to all, especially Earth Day site coordinators, volunteers and adults interested in reducing the amount of trash sent to landfills.

Children age 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
