If you're thinking about a career in the health professions, come to our Clinical Medical Assistant orientation and find out what it takes to join this fast-growing profession. This orientation is a must-attend!

Would you like to learn how to perform an EKG, do injections, and learn about phlebotomy? Are you a hands-on, people-oriented person? Learn about a career as a Clinical Medical Assistant.

You must attend an orientation before beginning our comprehensive, 260-hour, 17-week program.The orientation is free. Please see our course catalog for CMA program costs.

This program will prepare you to take the state CMA examination. Students will learn to perform back office procedures including vital signs, preparing and administering injections, drawing blood, collecting specimens, taking electrocardiograms, recording and charting patient history, preparing patients for x-rays and examinations, and applying bandages and dressings.

Successful students will be offered an opportunity to enroll in an optional clinical externship program.
