CVUSD to Reduce Baseball Field Fees
On the May 12 agenda: The school board will consider reducing fees for the use of baseball fields at Castro Valley High School.
The school board tonight will decide whether to lower the fees charged for the use of baseball fields at Castro Valley High School from $49.50 per hour to $30 per hour, bringing it in line with fees charged in Dublin, Livermore and Newark.
"The high cost of baseball fields at CVHS has resulted in very little use and very little rental income," the board's agenda packet says. Staff recommends lowering the fee.
Also on the agenda: curriculum standards, a budget update and honors for teachers, including a state .
