Can You Picture Yourself at Moreau Catholic High School?

Experience performances by their top-ranking choir and band, and witness your first mock trial at Moreau Catholic High School's Open House.

We invite you to picture a day-in-the-life of a student at Moreau Catholic. Our doors are open for community members interested in learning more about the school and its role in education in the East Bay and beyond on Saturday, Nov. 16, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

As you walk through the classrooms and attend riveting performances and demonstrations, you will be invited to ask yourself to explore some of the following questions, core to the vision of the school:

  • How do mindset and resilience affect academic success?
  • Can creativity be impacted by the kind of education you receive?
  • How can we optimize the potential of technology in learning?
  • Can values be taught?
  • How do we support and celebrate a diverse student body?
  • Where might you picture yourself on a high school campus such as Moreau’s?

You will also get to see the school’s vision in action, as you walk through the Moreau Catholic hallways, meet students, watch class demonstrations, witness Mariner athletes in training and much more. Visitors will get the rare opportunity to see a mock trial*, conducted by Moreau’s award-winning team. Further, there will be performances by their renowned choir and band, as well as drama and dance group rehearsals. Delicious brunch snacks will also be provided.

*For those new to Mock Trials, know that trained and devoted students role-play in a fictional case as pre-trial attorneys, defense and prosecution attorneys, etc. It is a fabulous learning experience, and is as exciting to watch, as it is to do. Moreau’s team was the County champion and a State finalist in 2013.
