This week is the week for registering to school and for the last minute runs to Office Depot and Target for school supplies as the first day of school rapidly approaches. Being a student myself, I'm not particularly excited about the school year starting next week.
I've heard awful things about being a junior and how it's the most stressful year of high school. Not only am I nervous, I'm also already stressed that it's going to be stressful. Oh the irony!
In my opinion, I think the best part about going back to school is the new supplies I get to use for the year. Strangely, I'm obsessed with school supplies specifically gel pens. I get a new pack of gel pens every year that I get very excited about. As I was scanning the pens in the school supplies section, I found a pack of erasable gel pens. Honestly, they are the coolest things I've ever used.
Another fun thing is getting to see what classes and teachers you get and exchanging schedules over facebook. It's an easy way to find out who's in your class before the first day of school.
As my supplies sit in bags by my school bag, I think it is time to say goodbye to summer 2012 and hello to the 2012-2013 school year!
