There's an old saying, "They don't make 'em like they used to."
With that in mind, we thought on this week's real estate installment we'd look at the oldest home we could find that was for sale in Castro Valley.
This one is a three-bedroom, two-bathroom house at 21975 Orange Ave. The one-story home was built in 1943.
It sits on less than a quarter-acre and is 1,688 square feet. It was listed as selling for $468,500 and indeed it was purchased recently.
