The Oldest Homes For Sale In Southern, Central Alameda County

Check out these homes, two of which are more than 100 years old

Halloween always conjures up images of an aging, rickety house with cobwebs and shuttered windows that all the kids in the neighborhood say is haunted.

So, we thought in our real estate stories this week we'd take a look at the oldest homes for sale in southern and central Alameda County.

These homes are certainly not haunted and are definitely comfortable for the living.

In Fremont, there's this five-bedroom, three-bathroom home at 1357 Mowry Ave. that was built in 1880.

The 2,306-square-foot Victorian house is listed at $729,000.

In San Leandro, there's this four-bedroom, two-bathroom home at 325 Dutton Ave. that was built in 1910.

The 1,830-square-foot home in need of some significant repairs is listed at $449,000.

In Union City, there's this three-bedroom, two-bathroom home at 33410 5th St. that was built in 1930.

The 1,223-square-foot house is listed at $419,000.
