You know the old saying. They don't make 'em like they used to.
They may or may not be true when it comes to homes, but for some people older houses are simply quainter and more "lived in."
This week, we thought we'd try to find the oldest home for sale in each of our communities.
In Castro Valley, there's this three-bedroom, two-bathroom house at 30156 Palomares Road that was built in 1932.
The 1,410-square-foot residence sits on 24 acres. The list price is $1.1 million.
