Well another Friday arrives. Hope your day goes well.

In the little village of San Lorenzo some things are going on.

The Library expansion groundbreaking happened Wednesday.
The Post Office will move over the weekend I think to the new location between Lucky and Black Angus. Old ones last day the 22nd so the sign said.

Last night at the monthly HOA meeting we met the new Board member Kyle Carlson. And said thanks to Diane for her 3 years of service.

But also we had a wonderful presentation and Q and A with Richard Harris from EBMUD discussing the upcoming draught and how we can long term improve our yards to be better stewards of the land we live on.

The Hayward Airport is getting some new construction this year. 
Open house coming soon, you might want to go.
But if it gets noisy you can always call the Airport at 510-293-8692.

Last, I got called a trailer cop yesterday. I happened upon a thread about a abandoned flat bed on Facebook and posted I would look as I was out going to drop off stuff at the Cleaners and run some errands.
I, for the record was a truck driver for almost 40 years and support truckers having places to park to stop for lunch or make a delivery. 
But I have seen where drivers have taken over parking lots and city streets because the don't have a yard or won't pay for one and become annoying and don't want that to happen here in the Village either.

Rain forecasted for most of next week so might want to mow the lawn this weekend...or not.
