After Losing the Election, What Should Pete Stark do Next?

After having a steady job in Congress for the last 40 years, Pete Stark is out of a job. What should he do next?

A long political career came to an unplanned halt on Tuesday for Rep. Pete Stark.

Stark lost his bid for his 21st term, losing the election in the 15th Congressional District to Eric Swalwell.

It ended one of the most influential Bay Area political careers in the last 40 years. Stark was in Congress since 1972 and was a champion for liberal causes, including health care.

But he's now out of a job. Though he's 80 years old, he wasn't planning on retirement.

So, what advice would give him? How could he have a productive impact on society? Should he consider trying to win his seat back in two years? Let us know.

Well, at least we now have a member of congress who will openly accept bribes from companies and grant government contracts to them. (See: Swallwell and AVI)

If the Alameda County Democratic Party were in charge of that building, they'd insist on a 2 year delay in demolishing it. They'd ask that all new building and plans be put on hold out of respect for the old building.

as opposed to doing it on the down-low (see any other Dem)

They should have imploded that building, just like Stark's Congressional Career. Gone in a fit of dust.

Pete stark should go home to Maryland and play with his children.
