Wild Times At The Library November 20 and December 19

Free special storytime for families features live animals

 

Once again the much-loved Sulphur Creek Nature Center will bring reading to life at the Castro Valley Library when master storyteller, Mrs. Rice, presents "Critter Storytime" and children ages 2 through 8 get a chance to meet live animals.

Youngsters and their parents are invited to attend the event November 20 at 10:30 a.m. (The event will be repeated again on December 19 at 10:30 a.m.)

Sulphur Creek Nature Center is nestled in the nearby Hayward hills and welcomes visitors from throughout the region. It brings its collection of animals (accompanied by naturalists) to local schools, libraries and other venues where the community can get acquainted with local wildlife.  It is part of the Hayward Area Recreation and Park District (H.A.R.D.) .
