The Hunt is on for New Homes Association Administrator

The San Lorenzo Village Homes Association has been busy interviewing candidates for the position to be vacated by long-time administrator Nancy Van Huffel.

Talk about big shoes to fill.

The San Lorenzo Village Homes Association is well on the way to picking a replacement for long-time administrator Nancy Van Huffel, who will retire  at the end of this summer after 23 years with the association.

In an effort to get their new administrator up and running before Van Huffel departs, the board of directors has been hard at work this week interviewing finalists, an elite group of 11 winnowed from more than 40 qualified applicants.

The final few will be put through their paces with an hour-long practical exam and a series of interviews,  said Board President Kathy Martins.

She said the board hopes to make a decision toward the end of the month, giving the new hire the rest of the summer to shadow the current administrator as she gets ready to leave.
