Taiwan Block Printing For Kids December 1

Castro Valley Library hosts Discover Taiwan Event

 

From the Castro Valley Library -

Discover Taiwan, sponsored by the Chuan Lyu Foundation, will present block printing for children December 1 from 2 to 3:30 p.m.at the Castro Valley Library.

You can go to the library's Children's Desk for more information or call 510-667-7900. The library is located at 3600 Norbridge Avenue, Castro Valley and is within walking distance of the Castro Valley BART station.

According to the event's sponsor, "The Chuan Lyu Foundation is a private philanthropy dedicated to preserving the culture and history of the Taiwanese people. Founded in 1986 and based in Palo Alto, California, the Foundation sponsors programs worldwide. It presents the richness and diversity of the Taiwanese culture through seminars, lectures, fellowships, scholarships, film projects, film festivals and a wide array of cultural events."
