Governor Brown has proposed repealing the Hayden Law. Join us as we rally to save the animal adoption mandate! The Hayden law ensures that California shelters keep stray or abandoned animals for a minimum of four to six days before euthanizing, and provide all animals with necessary and prompt vet care. All California animals deserve humane care, even in tough budget times! Please support the resolution that will be presented in the Board Meeting after the rally.

WHEN: Tuesday, March 13 — Rally @ 10:00 a.m. Followed by the board meeting on the fifth floor at 10:30 a.m. with opportunity for public comment
