Five candidates for three school board seats will meet tonight in a forum sponsored by the League of Women Voters Eden Area.
The event will run from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Castro Valley Library, 3600 Norbridge Ave.
Incumbents John Barbieri, Jo Loss and Kunio Okui are being challenged by Charmaine Banther and Mary Pippitt.

The BART District Five race will also be on the agenda.
Retired mechanic John Mayer is challenging incumbent John McPartland. District Five includes part of Castro Valley and Hayward, Dublin, Pleasanton, Livermore and Sunol.
