Paving Will Cause Delays On Crow Canyon Road

Work taking place through July will lead to one-way traffic and delays along portions of the road. Use the highway if possible.

 

MCK Paving, a contractor for the Alameda County Public Works Agency, is resurfacing Crow Canyon Road between Cold Water Drive and the vicinity of Mile Marker 5.25. 

During construction, traffic will be restricted to one lane with a pilot car leading traffic in alternate reversing directions. Exercise caution.

Traffic will be subject to delays and through motorists are encouraged to use the freeway to reach their final destinations. 

The resurfacing work will be performed in three phases through July 10.

  1. Stage 1: From Norris Canyon Road to the end of 4-lane section on Crow Canyon Road north of Norris Canyon Road
  2. Stage 2: From Norris Canyon Road to Cold Water Drive
  3. Stage 3: From end of 4-lane section on Crow Canyon Rd. north of Norris Canyon Rd. to Mile Marker 5.25

Construction Hours:

  1. Monday to Friday 9 am to 3 pm and 7 pm to 5 am
  2. Saturday 12:01 am to 11:59 pm
  3. Sunday 12 am to 5 am (Monday morning)
