New Sanitary District Board Member Chosen

David Sadoff will officially join the board of directors on Tuesday

The Castro Valley Sanitary District has appointed a new member to its board of directors.

David Sadoff will officially take over the now vacant seat on Tuesday. His term lasts until December 2012.

Sadoff is succeeding Dennis Waespi, who resigned from the board on Jan. 18.

Sadoff has been a professional environmental geologist for 25 years.

He has served on the district's community advisory committee for the past several years and is a member of the Castro Valley Municipal Advisory Council.

Sadoff is also a member of the Alameda County Parks, Recreation and Historic Commission.
