Library Will Hold Overdrive eBook Workshops June 25 - 27

Learn how to get the most out of your eReader and iPhone and check out and download titles from the library's Overdrive service

Find out what's happening in Castro Valleywith free, real-time updates from Patch.

The is offering workshops to teach you how to browse, check out and download titles from the library’s Overdrive service to your mobile device or laptop. 

Participants are asked to bring their fully charged device, their library card, have an Apple ID (for iPad/iPhone users), an Android Marketplace ID (for Android users) or Amazon account (for Kindle users), and have basic knowledge of how to use their device.

Here is a schedule of the classes:

iPhone/iPad - Monday, June 25 at 3:30 p.m.

Android Devices - Monday, June 25 at 3:30 p.m.

Kindle Touch or Fire - Wednesday, June 27 at 3:30 p.m.

Laptop/Net Book - Tuesday, June 26 at 1:00 p.m.

Registration is required for this free program.  To register, call the library Information Desk at 510-667-7900. 

The Castro Valley Library is a branch of the Alameda County Library system. The Library is located at 3600 Norbridge Avenue and is wheel chair accessible.  For more information, call the Library at 510-667-7900.  An ASL interpreter will be provided with ten days notice.
