Grandparent's Day Pancake Breakfast September 22 at Senior Center

Local families are invited to enjoy the breakfast and see animals from Sulphur Creek Nature Center at the event

 

From the Hayward Area Recreation and Park District (H.A.R.D.) -

The community is invited to attend a fun-filled morning at the Kenneth C. Aitken Senior and Community Center in Castro Valley September 22 from 9 to 11 a.m. when it holds a Grandparent's Day Pancake Breakfast. The breakfast will include pancakes, eggs, sausage, juice & coffee.

Representatives from the Sulphur Creek Nature Center in Hayward will be at the event to show and share some of their wild critters. Those attending the breakfast can also play games on a Nintendo Wii .

This event is co-sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Hayward-Castro Valley.  The Kiwanis Club and students from the Hayward and Castro Valley Key Club will cook and serve the breakfast.

An intergenerational celebration, the event is open to all ages, so bring your whole family. 

Tickets for this event are $4 for adults and $3 for children.  Tickets can be purchased in advance at the senior center located at 17800 Redwood Road Castro Valley,  or at the door the day of the event.
