Children age 6 through 12 accompanied by their parents are invited to a free special presentation by the Sulphur Creek Nature Center September 22 from 12 to 1 p.m. at the .
Called "Amazing Tails" the talk by one of the center's naturalists will answer the question, "Why do animals have tails" and will feature a live opossum, a rat and even a skunk.
There is no advance registration needed to attend, but seating is limited and on a first come first serve basis. Be sure to allow enough time to arrive and get settled in your seats to enjoy the presentation before it begins.
