A summer afternoon movie series launches June 18 at the. All showings are free and open to the public. Children age 7 and under must be accompanied by an adult. All of the movies are rated G or PG, except for the July 9 offering which is rated PG13.
Here is a list of the movies scheduled so you can add them to your calendar now. All are being shown from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Castro Valley Library located at 3600 Norbridge Avenue, Castro Valley.

July 9 - Sherlock Holmes 2: A game of shadows
July 16 - The Muppets
July 23 - The Adventures of Tin Tin
August 6 - Journey 2: The Mysterious Island
